About our Partner
Who They Are
This Searchbloom partner is an importer reseller providing high-grade imported furniture and decor from all over the world. Their focus is on products that display modern and Scandinavian design styles but are also made sustainably so that the products and the memories tied to them last across generations.
What They Do
They offer customers collections of Nordic and Scandinavian-inspired furnishings and home decor that are curated to be the highest in quality, design, material, and sustainability. Their selection includes brands from all over the world and a broad assortment of offerings, from beds, tables, seating, and storage to lighting, rugs, cushions, and other home accessories. In addition to their curated collections, the partner’s team is also made up of designers who provide extensive articles and guides on home decor and Nordic-inspired home design.
The Problem
The partner wanted their site to rank higher for two particular brands within their website: ferm LIVING and String Furniture. These are both high-grade Scandinavian furniture brands that fit precisely within the partner’s own brand and product offering. They also had the potential to become top sellers based on their unique design and value.
Prior to our team’s assistance, rankings for their collections and product pages for both brands were low. The partner desired to raise them to the top of search engine rankings, increasing their site’s web presence and making them a strong competitor for customers seeking products from ferm LIVING and String Furniture.
The Solution
In order to fulfill our partner’s goals, Searchbloom employed our unique SEO approach that comprehensively focuses on three key areas: Authority, Relevancy, and Technology (A.R.T.). Auditing our partner’s website, we identified and conducted several data-driven optimizations related to all three, allowing us to reach our partner through several.
- Searchbloom performed a thorough toxic backlink audit and updated the partner site’s list of disavowed domains via Google Search Console’s link disavowal tool. This cleared the website’s backlink portfolio of low-quality links that potentially harmed its overall search engine performance.
- We then performed extensive outreach among our network of high-authority websites, earning quality inbound links. This translated to the partner’s site gaining greater authority and visibility within search engines, earning increased traffic and higher search results rankings.
- Searchbloom performed a number of on-page optimizations to relevant product and collections pages using targeted keywords. This included weaving keywords naturally into the partner website’s content, title tags, headings, and meta descriptions.
- Our team also optimized the partner site’s HTML code and structured data using the same keywords and other techniques, ensuring it gained greater attention and recognition from search engines for the specific brand keywords the partner wanted to rank for.
- Searchbloom’s technical team examined and enhanced the partner site’s infrastructure so that its most significant pages provided a positive user experience. This was done by reducing each page’s underlying code, making them more efficient and error-free. They also compressed site code and page elements like images to ensure fast-loading page speeds.
- Our technical team also optimized the partner site’s internal link structure for easier crawlability and search engine recognition. This involved reducing internal links to no-index content, as well as optimizing internal links using keyword-rich anchor text.
Results
Within a year, our SEO efforts have led to the partner’s ferm LIVING and String Furniture collections pages reaching the top search results for both branded keyword queries. In fact, their campaign was so successful their pages ranked second only to the brands’ own websites!
As a result of their SEO campaign at Searchbloom, this partner was able to achieve increased traffic share from users looking to buy products for two of their highest revenue-earning brands. The graphs below show the page rankings for both collections between March 2023 and April 2024:
